Phillips, you’re a defence analyst so here’s a question unrelated to Ukraine that I hope you can enlighten me on (& maybe others):
In Yemen, the Shia Houthis have seen off the Saudis and the UAE, and apparently amassed a huge supply of cheap drones as well as long range missiles. This has been happening for years yet no one in Israel or the West seems to have paid attention. How is this possible, given the obvious strategic position? How have the houthis been able to capture and hold so much of Yemen? Why have their enemies not been able to interdict Iran’s supply of war matériels? (No human aid by the way, the Iranians are content to allow starvation, even to foster it). Could the current allies blockade Yemen and stop air shipments (I do not know if the Houthi area even has an airport). Thanks for any enlightenment you can throw on this.

Im hardly an expert on this--but getting things into Yemen by air and sea would not have been that difficult I imagine.
