Hello all, a week later than normal, Phillips and Mykola are back with our latest episode. It was all my fault (Phil’s) as I was travelling. However, at least we can reappear with some good news. For the first time in months, (seems US aid is on the brink of being approved. We talk about what this means for Ukraine, and what the many months without aid have done. We then discuss the situation on the battlefield and the continuation of Ukraine's growing ranged campaign against Russia--this time with ATACMs seemingly used on targets in Crimea.
Thanks Phillips and Mykola. I have started giving £30 a month to Come Back Alive. Only wish I could give more.
The 0.25% GDP for Ukraine petition is on 2,070 signatures, meaning it needs another 7,930 for a government response. Difficult but not impossible. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/653502
I’ll listen to the episode in the car later this morning, but it has to be good news for Ukraine, Europe, the US, and democracy that this is happening, even if months later than it could and should have happened. Now, let’s give Ukraine the weapons it needs.
As ever, thank you both. It seems to me the fact that the vast majority of US funds don’t go directly to Ukraine but are spent in the US is not widely understood. Supporting Ukraine is also supporting American jobs.
I really hope this will move quickly through the Senate. Does anyone know if America has been building ammunition over the past month where it hasn’t been going to Ukraine? Have they got material they can immediately move to Ukraine when the bill has passed the Senate?

It’s come up before, but it would be very helpful if Come Back Alive would set up the ability receive contributions through PayPal.
Now it needs to go back to the Senate and then Biden can sign it. I can’t imagine that will take longer than a couple of days?
Measure passed! 311-112

This news is a great relief.
