Thanks both, that really was incredibly interesting. If the US with Spaatz got it right (once the Mustang got flying) in 1943-1945, they sure do seem to be making a classic ‘snafu’ of their strategy in this war. It always amazes me how such an extravagantly and magnificently successful country like the US can get things so wrong at times.

I do not say this with say this with any lack of respect. I’m just stupefied!!

I think they're doing a lot worse than Russia. Russia might be slow and take a lot of hits on the chin before they react, but it looks live they've adapted their strategy to the battlefield faster than the US, that is safe to say.
