So Putin has informed Trump in a phone call that “Russia must respond.”

Sure wish Harris or Shapiro, or Moore, or Witmer were President.

Anyone else would be better--hard to think of anyone who would be as bad.

Excellent conversation. Adam is right, the D's need to grow a pair and coalless around a simple anti-authoritarian message and not get side-tracked by their default circular firing squads.

Indeed--the Dems have to get ready for 2026!

Tremendous conversation, thank you. Defending Democracy Against Autocrats. I needed to listen to this conversation today I wish the US was progressive enough to go forward with a Coalition, like the Coalition of the Willing. Willing to save our way of life

I have been a subscriber to Adams Substack for a while, and changed my status from free-loader on your Substack to paid yesterday morning. I was hoping to listen to an informed conversation and this was the place to be. Not in our world but this morning I am thinking a ticket with Adam Kinsinger and Pete Butiggieg 2028 as co-presidents, would be a cup of tea I could savour.

The political re-alignment in the Trump era is just gob-smacking sometimes. Kinzinger offhandedly says that Obamacare was "a good bill" in hindsight, and he's praising Nancy Pelosi's role as a disciplinarian. What!? A decade ago this would have been a nuclear bomb; in 2025 neither are even in the top 10 most important points he made in the conversation!

He's 100% right than the former Republican never-Trumpers are the only ones who seem to know what time it is.

Thanks for the convo.

I was hoping you could get a solid answer from Mr. Kinzinger, with whom I disagree vehemently about almost all things economic, but whose Patriotism I respect immensely, about who actually agrees with the pro Putin talking points, not amongst the populace but amongst those with power.

Who is paid by Putin?

Who, in such a position, just agrees with RT (if anyone)?

where the the weak links in the chain?

On electoral chances, just to share some very potentially depressing news, even after the crash of '29 the Dems couldn't upend GOP control

ps Pelosi was the best vote counter in a generation

pps back in my wheelhouse, industrialized country gov't debt is a HUGE problem not just due to the raw levels but because with population decline growth will slow...anti-immigration is anti growth

would you buy a 40 year JGB when Japan's population is projected to decline by 1/3 by then

would you buy a 30 year US Treasury if Trump is successful in deporting 8% of the population (his stated goal) and scaring off any new people who want to breed in the country?

I subscribe to both of you !!! Great conversation and so glad you discussed the status of the Democratic party. Adam is so insightful. I cringe when it is assumed the Dem's will win the House. He is correct- it is not going to happen. There are so many outstanding members of Congress- but none of them hold a position of leadership. The leaders should step aside. They are hurting our country. We need fighters ! And the leaders are so lazy ! I loved the discussion of Germany. It is now on my bucket list.

We need not one new party but two, loyal to democratic conservatism and -progressivism,. Both of the existing major parties are corrupt beyond repair.
