If a European NATO member state was attacked by Kremlin tomorrow, this is to me a likely scenario:

a) US denies all use of F-35 and US made long-range weapons targeting Russian soil

b) US would rapidly pull US forces out of «harms way»

c) US would relay intelligence gathered and shared within NATO, to Kremlin.

I think a) is the really juicy part. European NATO members have paid, and are paying, dearly for the «US girlfriend experience», but will most likely get the «Kremlin mother-in-law» version of it.

It seems that Germany, France and Ukraine should have immediately begun a Manhattan type project to defend against Russian missiles in December 2024. With their combined assets, how quickly could they make a better patriot system?
