Hi All,

Occasionally I feel I should get a little nerdy—and discuss an idea I think is important though you won’t see it discussed in a newspaper or magazine for the reason that it would be considered too academic. This is one of those nerdy moments. I think what we have seen over the last few years (and weeks) demonstrates a really important evolution in how the US populations views issues of war and peace. And its not a good evolution at all. It portends greater instability and lack of US commitment.
