Ukraine is doing something very interesting in Crimea and the Black Sea
Three days of coordinated attacks that are not getting the press they deserve
The war is going all pear-shaped for Ukraine, as I’m sure you know from reading all the papers. There has been a great deal of reporting (including with some questionable graphics) about what is happening in the land war. And yes, its a very difficult period for Ukraine there (though we still have no Russian breakthroughs to report).
However, while this is happening, Ukraine has been going about launching a series of attacks on Air-Sea-Logistic targets in Crimea and Russia itself across from Crimea. It seems a deliberate, and well planned operation to try and further isolate Crimea while pushing Russian air-sea forces further away from southern Ukraine (indeed to present the Russian Black Sea Fleet with a major dilemma). Ukraine has hit a range of military, logistic and wider economic targets, with a range of different systems, and they have shown the ability to launch repeated attacks on the same targets.
