Hi All,

One thing that was most worthwhile to experience in Ukraine is to hear from Ukrainians about how they are confused, befuddled and angered about how their war is being “negotiated” for them by those on the outside. They hear talk of different “peace” deals being floated in different quarters, some without any input from them and in based on assumptions which which they heartily disagree or are at least deeply skeptical. I thought I would outline the ones that they see—and how they view them. It might give you an idea of how different the assumptions are within Ukraine and in much of the outside world.

The Trump “Peace”.

This is probably the discussion most widely happening in the USA (and other places such as Hungary, China, etc) and it is the deal that Ukraine might be offered if Trump is elected president in November.
