I’m in the process of writing the second part of the piece on how MAGA was enabled (due later this week) but taking a little detour to discuss an issue of framing and argument—in particular how it might be best to appeal to Trump on Ukraine. Its something I’ve suspected for a while, and I was struck by something that Trump said yesterday which arguably gave it greater credence.
