Hello all. I dont know if you’ve seen, but Cambridge University Press just released an audio book of How the War was Won: Air-Sea Power and Allied Victory in World War II. In many ways its the foundational book in which I expressed my ideas on what matters in war (logistics, systems operations, grand strategy, etc). Anyway, the press has kindly given me five access codes and I’ve topped that up with getting another 10, so I now have 15 access codes. I thought I would offer these to paid subscribers as a sign of my gratitude for your support.

The issue I face is how to run the giveaway? I could simply do a draw of all people who have paid subscriptions, but some of those people might already have the book or not be terribly interested in listening to 23 hours (yikes) of dense prose. On the other hand, I could ask anyone who wants to be part of the draw simply to indicate their interest in the chat function.
I thought I would run a poll of my subscribers to see what they prefer. I’ve never done anything like this before—but would really like to find a way to get these copies out to you.
Cheers, Phil
