Last Minute Revision. I had originally entitled this update: Trump Has Not Entirely Rewritten the Playbook, which you can see was the focus. However, when news broke yesterday that the extreme MAGA gubernatorial candidate, Mark Robinson, had what can only be called as an unsavory past on porn boards, with a fetish for trans-porn and a tendency towards outbursts such as “Im a Black Nazi”, and calls for the return of slavery—I added this last minute pivot.

I waited until now to see about the fallout because he had to withdraw from the race as of midnight North Carolina time (which just passed about half an hour ago). There have been no reports of his withdrawal—so we have to assume he will stay on the ballot.
