Well if there were anytime before 2016 (in the modern era of national elections) then the US Presidential election would be functionally over as I write this. The debate provided both ample evidence that Trump is both temperamentally and mentally incapable of discharging the office of the Presidency. At the same time it offered evidence that Harris is articulate and can handle the pressure of speaking without notes effectively and convincingly—rebutting one of the main charges (which was having some effect) against her that the GOP was making.
