Ukraine Diary: Reflections of the war well travelling to/in Ukraine.

I have no idea if you, my subscribers, will find this kind of writing interesting, but I thought I would give it a go. I wanted to keep the larger war issues that I learnt about in Ukraine free to read, and have added them to my weekend updates. However, I kept a diary of sorts while I travelled to and within Ukraine, and I’ve updated it with certain strategic reflections. The result is part travelogue, part social commentary, part war analysis. There will be discussions of local cuisine (excellent goose dumplings, and historic sights), but also visions of Ukrainian strategy and how the war is going. I hope you enjoy it—and that is doesn’t send my subscribers running for the hills.
